1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the Transifyr website, Transifyr desktop and mobile applications, Transifyr Cloud, licensing systems, Google account features, and related support services (collectively, the “Services”).
2. Information we process
Account information: when you choose Google sign-in, we receive your Google account identifier, name, and verified email address. We do not receive your Google password.
License and device information: license keys, activation status, device identifiers, platform, app version, linked licenses, STT balance, balance transactions, and Cloud STT session status.
Voice and transcript data: when you actively start a session, audio is transmitted to the selected speech-recognition provider to produce a transcript. Desktop history is stored locally when you save it. The mobile app may store session information and transcripts with your account to provide history. If you use Live Share or Two-Way features, the content required to operate those features is transmitted.
Purchase information: product, transaction or receipt identifiers, payment platform, purchase/refund status, and entitlements. We do not directly receive or store your full payment-card details.
Support information: the subject and message you submit, together with your current license when available, app version, and platform.
Website data: IP address, browser or device type, and basic site activity may be processed by our hosting infrastructure and Google Analytics.
3. How we use information
We use information to operate the Services; authenticate accounts and licenses; synchronize balances; provide speech recognition, translation, and live sharing; process purchases and refunds; prevent fraud; provide support; monitor reliability; and comply with legal obligations.
4. Service providers and disclosures
We disclose only the information needed to providers supporting the feature you use. These may include Google (sign-in, analytics, and Google Play), Apple (App Store), Soniox and other speech, translation, or AI providers you select, Resend (email), Polar or other payment partners, and infrastructure or content-delivery providers.
We do not sell your personal data or personal transcripts. When you use your own API key, requests may be sent directly to the provider you configured and are governed by that provider’s policies.
5. Storage and retention
Settings, third-party API keys, and desktop history are primarily stored on your device. Uninstalling the application or clearing app data may remove that local data.
Account, license, balance, session, transaction, and security records are retained as needed to provide the Services, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and meet accounting or legal requirements. Support messages are retained as needed to handle your request.
6. Your choices and rights
You may decline Google sign-in and continue using features that do not require an account; revoke microphone or system-audio permissions in operating-system settings; delete local history; sign out; or revoke Transifyr access from your Google account.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of account data by contacting us at the email below. We may retain transaction or security records where required by law or necessary to protect the Services.
7. Security and international processing
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards. No transmission or storage system is completely secure. Information may be processed in countries where Transifyr or its service providers operate.
8. Children
The Services are not directed to children under 13 or the equivalent minimum age in their jurisdiction. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and address the request.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Policy as the Services or applicable requirements change. We will post the revised version on this page and update the effective date.
