What is Transifyr?
Transifyr is a desktop app for real-time speech transcription and translation. It helps you understand meetings, lectures, videos, games, and everyday conversations with live captions, translation, OCR, and AI assistance.
Where can I download Transifyr?
You can download Transifyr from the Download page. Windows users can choose the Microsoft Store version or the direct installer. macOS users should download the DMG installer.
Should I install from Microsoft Store or direct download?
Microsoft Store is the easiest option for most Windows users. The direct installer is useful if you prefer installing from GitHub releases or need the standalone build.
Does Transifyr support macOS?
Yes. Transifyr provides a macOS DMG installer for Apple Silicon and Intel Macs. The DMG is the recommended file for manual installation on macOS.
Does Transifyr update automatically?
Yes. Direct builds include Auto Update support. Microsoft Store builds are updated through the Store, so Windows can manage updates for you.
Which speech recognition engines are supported?
Transifyr supports Soniox and Transifyr Cloud speech recognition for real-time transcription. You can choose the option that best fits your workflow and setup.
Can I translate text on screen or inside images?
Yes. Screenshot OCR lets you capture and translate text from images, apps, PDFs, games, and videos. Live OCR can continuously monitor selected screen areas and translate visible text.
What can AI Chat do?
AI Chat helps you ask questions about transcripts, summarize conversations, explain difficult phrases, and get support during interview-style workflows.
Is my data private?
Transifyr does not collect your transcripts. If you use local models, processing can stay on your device. If you use cloud providers such as Soniox, Gemini, OpenAI, DeepL, or others, related audio/text is sent to the provider you configure.
Is this a one-time purchase?
Yes. Transifyr uses a one-time license model. You pay once and can use the app without a recurring subscription.
How many devices can I activate?
One license can be activated on up to 2 devices. If you need to move your license, deactivate it on the old device first when possible.
How do I recover my license key?
Use the Recover page and enter the email address used during purchase. Your license information will be sent back to you if a matching order is found.
What payment methods are supported?
International users can pay by card or PayPal through Polar.sh. Vietnamese users can also use bank transfer via Sepay QR when available.
Can I get a refund?
Please test the app before purchasing. Because licenses are delivered digitally, purchases are generally final unless required otherwise by applicable law or platform policy.
